Lambton House is a vibrant friendly and comfortable spacious care home offering residential Dementia Care on a twenty four hour basis by professionally trained staff. Our care home overlooks the open peaceful countryside on the outskirts of Bournmoor, within a few miles of the historical City of Durham.
The house was built in the early 20th century and has been sympathetically extended retaining many of its original features. The home is tucked away on two acres of land surrounded by beautiful well tended gardens and mature trees.
Within Lambton House Care Home there are 45 single bedrooms with en-suite and one en-suite for companion room. There is a large dining area, 3 lounge areas and 2 conservatories.
The spacious bedrooms are fully furnished with a wardrobe, chest of draws, comfy chair and have a nurse call system installed. Beds are fitted with a pressure relieving mattresses to give extra comfort. All areas are furnished to very high standards in a warm traditional style which helps the Service Users to feel safe, comfortable and at home.
